I'm an autistic Finnish artist living in the middle of forests and fields! My artwork is greatly inspired by Don Bluth's animation, and other artists of the era and specialty.

My birthday is on the 21st of November! 🎂 This makes me a scorpio-sagittarius cusp, if that's interesting to you!!
💜 My interests include paleontology, ornithology, and general zoology. Speculative evolution projects are an occasional hobby I partake in! I'm also interested in the 1980s, especially the technology. Proud owner of two VCRs and countless VHS tapes! :D

📻 I listen to a LOT of different kinds of music! Mainly interested in obscure 80s, but I will listen to anything as long as the song is good. I don't follow or fan specific bands or artists, so don't ask!

PERSONALITY
Ka takes on the general mannerisms of 1980s awesomedude youth. Words like "radical", "gnarly" and "tubular" are in frequent use, and the fashion sense is colourful and... well, gnarly. Patterned jackets, shirts and shorts, as well as glittery suits if they're allowed to get real dapper!
It can be stubborn and boisterous, and the goose-ness shines in the aggressively protective tendencies. But, most of the time, a VERY chill guy to hang out with. :]

BACKSTORY
Sometime in the 1980s, somehow, a little but manageable clump of cellular material would find its way out of Antarctica, winding up in a more populated area.
This clump, "Ka" as we will come to call it, discovers and assimilates a domestic goose. For uncertain reasons it remains that way, rather modifying its genome than fully changing disguise. Perhaps alien meat bits can have preferences too. :]
Now choosing to stand out than blend in, Ka's personality flourishes and it becomes easy to forget what it was to begin with! It's chosen not to infect others anymore, and why would it? Geese are already quite hardy to begin with.
Especially if they have human intelligence and opposable thumbs.

Ka Charnauk (as in I) is a parthenote of the Antarctica 1982 Thing, a shapeshifting alien organism of unknown origin and function which assimilates living beings to survive.
It might act similarly to a virus, but is biomechanically different, instead digesting and replicating host cells upon infection. It'll be a perfect copy, down to the memories, biology, and even defects... all the while being able to re-arrange the cellular structure to whatever it wants... albeit, with lots of fangs, tendrils and weird extra legs when in such a hurry.
Being an organism of this nature, it is also capable of regenerating body parts in a whim! Separated parts can crawl back to the mass, and it's practically immortal as long as there remains living cells and enough nutrients to grow.
Ka itself is an assimilation of a goose, later modified into a more anthropomorphic form for efficiency as a sapient sophont.
By "default", Ka is an undefined biological mass of countless alien species their whole has assimilated in the past, and nowadays (post-assimilation) is in-disguise: when it's a silly goose!
Shapeshifting is not painful, but is exhausting due to rapid tissue and bone growth. Gets hot to the touch and very hungry, so shifting is limited to last-effort situations and when comfort and nourishment is readily available.

In its usual goose-form however, Ka is just as interesting! While adapting to life as a sentient being, it has grown rather untraditional features for a goose. Wings are discarded for arms, eyes shift to the front, and teeth grow in the mouth. Overall, changes to a rather humanoid form, save the longer neck and tail.
Freely playing around with the bird's genome allows it to activate ancient DNA, hence the occasional hair-like protofeather mixed within the plumage, or the dinosaur-like traits.
It retains the biological morphology and behaviour of a goose, for example: the keel bone as an attachment point of pectoral muscles. Instead of flight, they serve as exceptional strenght! Strong honker!
Internal organs also function as usual when in full "goose"-state. It is able to live a fully avian lifestyle as is, but where's the fun in that as a shapeshifting meat alien? (There's gotta be the occasional nasty icky flesh explosion!!!)
Some anatomical differences can be noted... see the extended ceca adapted for a primarily carnivorous diet and reduced air sacs due to flightlessness.

ABOUT MY WEBSITE!
...Finally, talking about this dastardly site itself!
First things first, I have very little HTML experience. My first was with a SpaceHey account, where I got the general hang of it, but it wasn't until Neocities here when I really got myself to learn some coding.
This webbedsite is actually a Frankenstein's monster of multiple free layouts, hours of tutorials, adorned with my own customization and a LOT of trial and error...
It's all dissecting code and figuring out how it works!
I use Phoenix Code to make the process easier and to test what works before pasting it to the real thing... Artwork and theming is really the main thing making this site as snazzy as it is, so utilize those colours, fonts and images!
I made this site mainly because Strawpage keeps breaking, and... why not? Many others have a site already, so why not me as well. :]
This is very experimental and tacky, but that's just better than corporate minimalist slop :DDD
